ORIS Certified Press is a simple to use measurement tool for ad agencies, print buyers, color separators and printers that performs a comprehensive evaluation of the printing press and presents its findings in a simple to understand, yet comprehensive report. Press characteristics such as tone value increase (dot gain), inkuniformity across the sheet and down the sheet, grey balance and primary color densities are measured in one pass and out-of-tolerance results clearly shown. Pass/Fail  results and vital parameters are printed on the included label printer.

With ORIS Certified Press control strips are designed small enough that they can be read with common hand-held scanners. Individual control strips can also be used and spot colors can be measured in single patches or strips – being compared to the pre-loaded spot color libraries from Pantone and HKS. All measurements are secure and can be used for trend analysis, allowing you to monitor color quality and detect color drifts over the entire print run and over any period of time.
